About Planned Parenthood Los Angeles
- Planned Parenthood Los Angeles provides care to over 90,000 women, men, and teens a year in Los Angeles County.
- We have 14 health centers, one mobile health unit and a street outreach program.
- Our services include: Birth Control and Education, Testing and Treatment for Sexually Transmitted Infections, Pregnancy Testing and Counseling, Adoption and Prenatal Care Counseling and Referrals, Medication and Surgical Abortion, Screenings for Breast, Cervical, and Testicular Cancer, Teen-Sensitive and Midlife Services, and Reproductive Health Care for Men.
- Family planning appointments make up 90% of patient visits and 10% of visits are for pregnancy and abortion care.
- Patients are charged for services according to their ability to pay. Our generous donors, along with state programs including Family PACT and Medi-Cal, ensure that all patients can get the care they need.
- Our education and community outreach programs reach over 70,000 teens, women and men in Los Angeles County.
